1. Official acceptance projects and tasks of black pepper investigated principally by WASI

– The identification of pest on black pepper in several major cultivation areas in the Central Highlands and the Southeast of Vietnam (Institutional project, 1997 – 1998).

– Study on proper types of supports for black pepper to replace dead supports in order to prevent deforestation in Dak Lak province (Dak Lak provincial project, 2001 – 2004);

– Research on selection and breeding and development of integrated technical system for improving black pepper in the Central Highlands (Ministerial project, 2001 – 2005);

– Research on production of foliar fertilizer specialized for black pepper – NUPE (Institutional project, 2006 – 2010);

– Research on building up a technical protocol for black pepper production (Piper nigrum L.) towards GAP in Gia Lai province (Gia Lai Provincial Project, 2009 – 2012);

– Planting and intensive cultivation of black pepper (Central Agricultural Extension Project, 2011 – 2013).

– The selection of bacteria Pseudomonas being antagonistic to fungal pathogens in the root of black pepper in the Central Highlands (Institutional project, 2013 – 2014).

– Consultancy on the implementation of the black pepper value chain pilot in Dak Nong province (Dak Nong provincial project, 2013 – 2014);

– The experiments of grafting techniques on some rootstocks with the same family of black pepper (Belonging to project of Black pepper Research and Development Center, 2014 – 2015);

– Research on building up a technical package of sustainable black pepper production for export in Vietnam (Regular tasks according to functions, 2015);

– Pilot study of the dissolvable NPK fertilizer specialized for black pepper in the Central Highlands and the Southeast of Vietnam (Collaboration between PetroVietnam  Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation and WASI, 2015 – 2017);

– Building up a pilot of water-saving irrigation for black pepper; production pilot of organic fertilizers from fishes for poor ethnic minorities in the areas of water insufficiency for irrigation in Chu Prong district, Gia Lai province (Project of Chu Prong district, 2016);

– Research on completing the technical protocol of sustainable black pepper production in Vietnam (Regular tasks according to functions, 2016, 2017).

– Study on hybridization methods for black pepper (Institutional project of Black pepper Research and Development Center, 2015 – 2020);

– Study on breeding and integrated technical approaches for the development of sustainable black pepper (Ministerial project, 2016 – 2020);

– Research on designing and manufacturing equipments for production of  red pepper, green pepper and white pepper treated by enzyme technology (National project, belonging to project “Biotechnology development and application in processing industry up to 2020”, 2017 – 2018);

– Consultancy on building up 02 pilots of black pepper in Dak Song district (Collaboration with Pearl Trading – Service and import-export Corporation,  5/2017 – 5/2018);

– The application of biotechnology in the production of disease-free black pepper (Piper nigrum L.), (Belonging to Dak Nong provincial project, 12/2017 – 5/2020).

– Study on practical application of technical approaches on cultivation and integrated management of several major pests and diseases on black pepper in Dak Nong province (National project, collaboration between Plant Protection Institute and WASI);

– Study on approaches of integrated crop management (ICM) for sustainable development of black pepper in the Central Highlands (Institutional Project, 2006-2007);

– Research on selection and breeding and advanced cultivation techniques for the sustainable black pepper development (Ministerial project, collaboration between Institute of Agriculture Science for Southern Viet Nam (IAS) and WASI, 2006 – 2009);

– Study on integrated management approaches of soil born desease in black pepper (Ministerial project, collaboration between Institute of Agriculture Science for Southern Vietnam (IAS) and WASI, 2006 – 2010);
