1. Official acceptance projects and tasks of cocoa investigated principally by WASI
– The study of selection and breeding of cocoa varieties in the Central Highlands (Institutional project, 2011 – 2013);
– The study of microbiological by-product production to ferment cocoa beans to get better quality and increase cost effect (Institutional project, 2011 – 2013);
– The research on sustainable cocoa development in Vietnam (National project, 2011 – 2016);
– Trial production of two cocoa varieties (PBC157 and PBC159) in Southern provinces. (Ministerial trial production project, 2012 – 2014);
– The strategic evaluation of cocoa varieties/clones in the long – term development stage in Vietnam (Ministerial project: sustainable cocoa development in Vietnam, 2013);
– The research and evaluation of cocoa varieties for selecting and breeding cocoa in Vietnam (Regular task according to function, 2016 – 2017).
2. Official acceptance projects and tasks of cocoa collaborated with other organizations.
– The research on developing technology and equipment to produce cocoa powder and chocolate products with large industrial scale in Dak Lak province (National project on experimental production, collaboration with Nam Truong Son Cocoa Company, 2016 – 2017).
